Tuxedo Computers, renowned for its Linux-focused hardware, has introduced the InfinityBook Max 15—a 15.3-inch aluminium ultrabook designed to deliver both professional-grade productivity and high-end gaming performance. This new model stands out for its impressive balance of power, portability, and Linux compatibility.

Weighing just 1.95 kg, the InfinityBook Max 15 is remarkably lightweight for a laptop that houses AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 series processors, with configurations available up to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (12 cores, 24 threads). For graphics, users can choose between NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 GPUs, making the device suitable for demanding creative workloads and modern gaming.

High-Quality Display and Battery Life

The ultrabook features a 15.3-inch IPS display with a sharp 2560 x 1600 resolution, a fast 300 Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color coverage, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. This combination ensures vibrant visuals and smooth motion, whether for content creation or gaming. Powering the device is a robust 99 Wh battery, offering up to 10 hours of light use. Charging is flexible, with support for USB-C 140 W charging and a 240 W GaN adapter for intensive tasks.

Expandable Memory and Storage

The InfinityBook Max 15 is built for scalability, featuring dual DDR5-5600 memory slots supporting up to 128 GB of RAM. Storage needs are met with two PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD bays, accommodating up to 8 TB of fast storage—ideal for professionals handling large files or extensive game libraries.

Comprehensive Connectivity and Advanced Cooling

Connectivity options are extensive, including dual USB-C ports (USB4/3.2 Gen 2), three USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 2.1, LAN, and an SD card reader. The advanced cooling system utilizes an 8 mm dual-fan setup, capable of managing up to 150 W of combined CPU and GPU power. Adjustable TGP levels (45-115 W for the RTX 5060 and 50-115 W for the RTX 5070) allow users to fine-tune performance and thermals based on their needs.

Optimized for Linux and Flexible OS Support

Out of the box, the InfinityBook Max 15 runs Tuxedo OS or Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, both offering full Linux driver support and robust encryption options. For those who require it, Windows 11 is also available as an alternative operating system, ensuring flexibility for a wide range of users.
