Global OLED Monitor Market Sees Robust Growth in Q2 2026
According to the latest research from TrendForce, the global OLED monitor market experienced significant growth in the second quarter of 2026. This surge was fueled by the introduction of new OLED monitor models, heightened consumer activity during China’s 618 shopping festival, and the ongoing popularity of 27-inch QHD monitors, which continue to dominate the segment.
Global OLED monitor shipments rose by 26.1% quarter-over-quarter in Q2 2026, and nearly doubled year-over-year with a 98% increase compared to the same period last year. These figures highlight the accelerating adoption of OLED technology, particularly in gaming and premium display markets.
Top OLED Monitor Brands and Market Share
The rankings of the top five OLED monitor brands remained stable in the second quarter. ASUS maintained its leadership position, capturing a 23.1% share of the global market. The brand’s strong performance was supported by the 618 sales event and sustained demand from China’s internet café sector.
Samsung held onto second place with a 13.1% market share, despite a notable decline due to its gradual withdrawal from the Chinese market. This strategic shift limited Samsung’s ability to benefit from seasonal demand, narrowing its lead over MSI to just 0.3 percentage points. MSI secured third place with a 12.8% share, bolstered by effective promotions during the 618 festival.
AOC ranked fourth, achieving an 8.6% market share. The company’s aggressive rollout of new products—especially in the 27-inch QHD category—combined with steady demand in China, contributed to its strong performance.
LG Electronics (LGE) rounded out the top five with an 8.4% share. The brand saw consistent growth in its OLED monitor business, driven by increased shipments of its 39-inch WUHD premium monitor during the quarter.
Emerging Trends and Market Outlook
TrendForce’s analysis indicates that improved OLED panel supply is enabling emerging brands to ramp up shipments at a faster pace, gradually closing the gap with established market leaders. This shift could potentially alter the competitive landscape in the coming quarters, making the evolution of market rankings an important trend to monitor.
