Intel's Latest Processor Updates

During the Computex 2024 event, Intel introduced its Core Ultra 300 "Lunar Lake" processor, with a planned release date in Q3 2024. However, recent information reveals that the processors will not be available until Fall 2024, specifically in September. Notebook OEMs are expected to announce their products based on these chips, with market availability set for Holiday 2024, as reported by DigiTimes.

According to the same report, Intel's Core Ultra "Arrow Lake-S" desktop processors may be announced in October 2024. The Unlocked K- and KF SKUs, along with compatible Socket LGA1851 motherboards using the Intel Z890 chipset, could be available at that time.

Following the DigiTimes report, Intel was asked for clarification by Digital Trends. The company responded by confirming that the chips will indeed be available "starting in Q3 2024, as previously mentioned at Computex." This timeline suggests that shipments of the "Lunar Lake" processors to OEMs will begin in June, with product announcements and market availability to follow in the subsequent months.
