MSI Unveils New 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor

MSI has introduced a new gaming monitor called the MPG 322URX, featuring a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED display with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. This monitor is specifically designed for gamers and offers a range of impressive features and performance capabilities. MSI claims that the monitor covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, making it potentially suitable for professional use as well.

The 31.5-inch display provides ample screen real estate and utilizes QD-OLED display technology. This technology allows the monitor to achieve a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits at a 3% APL, along with an HDR True Black 400 rating. OLED panels offer benefits such as excellent contrast ratios due to true blacks and near-instantaneous response times. MSI provides a three-year warranty for the panel, which is in line with industry standards.

The monitor includes a variety of connectivity options, including dual USB-A 3.2 ports, a USB 3.2 Type-B port, a USB-C port with up to 98 watts of power delivery, DisplayPort 2.1, and dual HDMI 2.1 ports. While the product has been unveiled in China, a global launch is expected soon. Pricing details have not been disclosed yet, but MSI's pricing strategy suggests that it will offer good value for the features it provides.
