MSI World of Warcraft Midnight Edition GeForce RTX Graphics Card

MSI is set to launch a limited edition World of Warcraft Midnight edition GeForce RTX graphics card in 2026, as revealed at Gamescom in Cologne. Blizzard has confirmed that the Midnight expansion will be released on or before June 30, 2026. The prototype from MSI features a design inspired by the expansion's color palette, incorporating black, white, and blue accents on its Gaming Trio design. This collaboration aims to blend hardware with game lore, as the Midnight expansion focuses on the conflict between the Void and the forces of Light, an attack on the Sunwell, and the introduction of player housing.

With the WoW update scheduled for mid-2026, MSI's special edition is expected to coincide with NVIDIA's rumored GeForce RTX 50 SUPER refresh, also rumored for the same year. The refresh is anticipated to offer higher core counts, larger memory configurations, and increased power limits across various SKUs. Speculations suggest models with around 10,752 CUDA cores and 24 GB of next-generation GDDR7 for an RTX 5080 SUPER. However, MSI has not yet confirmed any technical specifications for its Midnight card, and the sample displayed in Cologne was presented as a concept rather than a final product. More information on pricing, detailed specifications, and preorder availability is expected to be announced by the companies closer to the release date.
