Acer Unveils Nitro 30 Gaming Desktop in Japan
Acer has introduced the Nitro 30, a new addition to its Nitro series of pre-built gaming desktops, exclusively in Japan. This 28-liter gaming PC is engineered for high performance, featuring the latest AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor paired with the powerful AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. The Nitro 30 is designed to cater to gamers seeking both robust hardware and a visually striking chassis.
Design and Build
The Nitro 30 sports a modern, compact chassis with a semi-closed front panel highlighted by the distinctive Nitro logo. A tempered glass side panel allows users to showcase the system’s internal components and RGB lighting. The case includes two pre-installed 120 mm RGB fans, with an additional 120 mm RGB fan mounted on the top-flow CPU cooler. There is also space for an extra 120 mm fan at the front intake, though expansion options for further cooling are limited.
High-Performance Hardware
Inside, the Nitro 30 is equipped with 32 GB of dual-channel DDR5-5600 RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and gaming performance. Storage is handled by a fast 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD, providing ample space and rapid load times for games and applications. The system is powered by an 850 W 80 Plus Gold certified power supply, delivering reliable and efficient energy for demanding gaming sessions.
Connectivity and Expansion
The Nitro 30 offers modern connectivity options, including built-in Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for seamless wireless networking and device pairing. The front I/O panel features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack for easy access. On the rear, users will find a PS/2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, dedicated 3.5 mm audio line-in, line-out, and microphone input ports, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port for stable wired connections.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card is equipped with three DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI port, likely supporting the latest standards such as DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1, ensuring compatibility with high-resolution monitors and advanced display setups.
Availability and Pricing
Currently, the Acer Nitro 30 is available exclusively in Japan, priced at ¥588,000 (approximately $3,703.65 USD at the current exchange rate). While this price point may not directly reflect future international pricing, it provides an indication of the premium positioning of the Nitro 30 within Acer’s gaming desktop lineup. Given the global presence of other Nitro models like the Nitro 85 and Nitro 60, a wider international release may be on the horizon.
