Record-Breaking Overclocks Achieved Without Hardware Mods
Following the release of mVolt+ v0.36, users have reported impressive overclocking results. One Reddit user from the r/Overclocking community shared their experience with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, achieving a total power draw of 700 W—an increase of 125 W over the card’s standard 575 W TDP. During a 3DMark Steel Nomad benchmark, the GPU reached a peak clock speed of 3,127 MHz, which is 720 MHz higher than the reference clock of 2,407 MHz. The benchmark run resulted in a score of 16,523 points, highlighting the performance potential unlocked by the new software features.
