Gigabyte has recently updated the CPU support list for its X570 AORUS XTREME motherboard. Internet hardware enthusiasts have noticed the addition of an unreleased AMD CPU that is compatible with the board when the BIOS is updated to version F35. This suggests that Team Red may be preparing to launch the quad-core/eight-thread "Cezanne" Ryzen 3 5100 processor in the near future. It's worth noting that the AM4 platform and Zen 3 architecture are still in use, co-existing with the 7000-series lineup. Additionally, the "Vermeer-X" Ryzen 5 5600X3D will be available exclusively at Micro Center retail stores later this week. Furthermore, a motherboard support list has included another Cezanne-based unit, the eight-core Ryzen 7 5700.

The Ryzen 3 5100 and Ryzen 7 5700 CPUs were mentioned in SKU manifests last spring but did not end up being released in 2022. These processors are believed to be monolithic die APUs with their integrated GPUs disabled. The Cezanne CPU microarchitecture is based on TSMC's 7 nm process node. Some sources suggest that these processors have occasionally appeared as OEM parts on e-commerce platforms, but AMD has not made any official announcements regarding their potential retail releases.
