Exciting New Reveals from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 at San Diego Comic-Con
PlayStation players were treated to an exciting panel at San Diego Comic-Con by the Insomniac team, where they unveiled fantastic new reveals from Marvel's Spider-Man 2. One of the highlights was the first look at the limited edition PS5 Console - Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Bundle, featuring a custom console cover design and a matching DualSense wireless controller.
The designs were created to capture the essence of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and showcase the intensity of the symbiote and its transformative power. The front cover of the PS5 console depicts the symbiote tendrils creeping closer to the Spider-Man icon, while the back of the console displays the iconic white Spider-Man icon from Insomniac's Advanced Suit. The DualSense wireless controller also features the symbiote design.
Senior Art Director Jacinda Chew explained that the design was inspired by the in-game symbiote takeover, with the underlying red representing the various ways players will experience the symbiote in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The design symbolizes the constant struggle for dominance, both internally and externally.
In addition to the stunning design, the limited edition bundle offers an immersive gaming experience. The PS5 console's Tempest 3D Audiotech allows players to pinpoint sounds from bio-electric powers, enemy attacks, and the bustling traffic of Marvel's New York. The ultra high-speed SSD enables near-instant character switching between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, while the DualSense wireless controller provides adaptive triggers and haptic feedback for a more realistic web-swinging experience.
The PS5 Console - Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle includes a limited edition PS5 console, a limited edition DualSense wireless controller, and a voucher for a digital copy of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition.
For those who already own a PS5 console, there is also the option to purchase the PS5 Console Covers - Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition, PS5 Digital Edition Console Covers - Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition, and DualSense Wireless Controller - Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition separately. Pre-orders for these items will begin on July 28 and will be available in select countries.
