EK Launches New Universal Distribution Plate: EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate D5 PWM

EK, the premium water-cooling gear manufacturer, is introducing a new universal distribution plate called the EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate D5 PWM. This distroplate features a wall filled with ports, allowing users to choose the ones that best suit their unique build. Unlike other distroplates, it does not have prebuilt inner channels. Instead, it has an "open space" internal structure that enables users to custom-route tubes from one port to another within the distroplate using micro 90-degree angled adapters and micro HDP or HDC fittings. This unprecedented flexibility and customizability is further enhanced by its universal mounting on 140 mm fan mounting holes, making it compatible with almost any modern PC case. Notably, this product does not include LED illumination.

Product Overview

The EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate D5 PWM is a custom water-cooling reservoir, routing, and pump solution that can be mounted on 140 mm fan patterns inside the chassis, provided there is enough space. It stands out from other distroplates as it does not have pre-made channels for coolant routing. Instead, users can build their own channels. The distroplate can be mounted on practically any 280 mm (2x140mm) mounting point, and with angled brackets (sold separately), it can be mounted at a 90° angle to a 120 mm or 140 mm fan mount. It is part of the QuantumX Line, designed for enthusiasts who want to make a statement. The product is available in two finishes: Silver and Black. Both versions include screws, an anodized aluminium frame, and the EK-Quantum Convection premium pump cover in corresponding colors. This advanced all-in-one waterway solution features a pump, reservoir, and a total of 34 industry-standard G1/4" threaded ports. Connection within the distroplate is made using micro adapters, fittings, and tubes.

These accessories ensure compatibility and help mitigate any potential issues with the height of the fittings. Please note that these accessories are not included with the distribution plate and must be purchased separately in the preferred finish. The distroplate comes with all thirty-two G1/4" plugs and their respective covers in either white or black, depending on the version of the Loophole Distroplate.

Genuine D5 Pump and EK-Quantum Convection Aluminium Cover

The EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate D5 PWM includes a powerful yet silent PWM-controlled D5 pump. The goal was to create a product that offers excellent reliability and outstanding performance with multiple blocks and radiators while minimizing noise. The D5 pump has been updated with the latest G3 (Generation 3) variant and features a SATA power connector, aligning with the trend of reducing the use of 4-pin Molex cables.

The EK-Quantum Convection cover is made of CNC-machined aluminium and is anodized in black or silver. It is designed to enhance the aesthetics of D5 pumps and features a rectangular design with a convenient hole for cable routing, allowing for a cleaner look.

The EK-Matrix7 Compliance

The EK-Matrix7 standardizes the dimensions of EK products, including port position and spacing. This standardization makes liquid cooling loop assembly easier and more intuitive. EK-Quantum distribution plates follow the EK-Matrix7 standard, enabling seamless integration with Vector² GPU water blocks, active backplates, and Quantum Surface radiators. This simplifies the planning and bending of tubes, resulting in an impressive water-cooled build.
