Acer Expands Swift Laptop Lineup with Intel Core Ultra Processors and AI Features
Acer has introduced new additions to its Swift family of thin and light laptops, featuring Intel Core Ultra processors with integrated AI acceleration capabilities. These new laptops offer improved performance, usability, and intuitive features for content creation, schoolwork, productivity, and gaming.
"After unveiling our first Intel Core Ultra laptops last month, we're debuting even more products in our Swift line to help a wider range of customers take advantage of premium laptop experiences and AI-supported technology for more exciting and effective PC use," said James Lin, General Manager, Notebooks, IT Products Business, Acer.
The new Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-72) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73) laptops are verified as Intel Evo platform laptops. They are powered by new Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc built-in GPUs, offering premium performance and all-day battery life of up to 12.5 hours for the 14-inch laptop and up to 10.5 hours for the 16-inch version.
The Swift Go laptops also come with AI-supported features to enhance user experiences and creativity. Users can access Copilot in Windows with a single click of the laptop's dedicated Copilot key, allowing them to optimize their time spent working, creating, and playing on the device. The laptops also feature a high-quality webcam with AI-boosted conferencing features, such as Background Blur, Automatic Framing, and Eye Contact. Additionally, the laptops are equipped with Intel Wi-Fi 7 for faster internet connection speeds.
The Swift Go laptops have a thin-and-light aluminum chassis that can be opened to 180 degrees for easy collaboration. The Swift Go 14 also offers a multi-control lighting touchpad option for certain models, as well as an OceanGlass touchpad for smooth scrolling experiences. Both models feature larger scrolling space and support Intel Unison 2.0 for easy connection with Android or iOS devices.
The Swift Go laptops feature vibrant OLED displays with high brightness and color range. The Swift Go 16 has a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display, while the Swift Go 14 has a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display. Both models are TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certified to reduce eye strain and offer the option for touchscreen displays.
In terms of memory and storage, the Swift Go laptops support up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and up to a 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD with dual slots. They also come with a range of ports for connectivity, including USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, a USB Type-A port with offline charging, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader. The laptops also include Bluetooth LE Audio for improved wireless audio.
The Acer Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G) is another addition to the Swift lineup. It features the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPUs, and a Calman-verified 2.8K OLED panel. The Swift X 14 is designed for content creators and students, offering faster AI-enhanced workflows and high-quality displays for video editing, live streaming, and 3D rendering. It also includes AI-enabled conferencing features, advanced thermal technologies for cooling, and up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
The Acer Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 will be available in North America and EMEA starting in February, with prices starting at USD 799.99 and EUR 1,149, respectively.
